This year has been exceptional, with the TCT ministry receiving tremendous support from numerous incredible volunteers, individual donors, churches, partners, and various organizations. TCT has been particularly fortunate to have San Jose Christian Alliance Church as a sponsor, providing all meals and drinks.

This Christmas holds special significance as TCT ministry and the unhoused community have been greatly blessed by the GEMS (Growing, Encouraging, Mentoring and Service) Sunday School ladies, teachers and children from the Bay Area Chinese Bible Church (BACBC). In September, the GEMS leadership team/teachers from BACBC reached out expressing their desire to help us with fundraising for the Christmas event. I was unaware of the extent of their efforts, as they went above and beyond to raise funds for all the outreach supplies, with additional funds remaining to cover other expenses. This major project involved preparing about 100 backpacks, each filled with socks, gloves, food, and accessory packages. They invested a great deal of love and time into creating ornaments, personalized Christmas cards, Christian tracts, and prayers. We are certain it will bring joy and warmth to all recipients.

Please allow me to share a message from one of the GEMS leaders expressing great appreciation and thanks to everyone involved to illustrate the immense effort, collaboration, teams, and resources committed to this labor of love project. The TCT ministry is truly grateful to the GEMS ladies, teachers, children, parents and their families (Barney and April Chan, Jeannette Ong, Bryan and Jenn Lee, Paul and Nikki Son, Jenna Lee) and hubbies (Bowman, Roland, and Donald) who have generously contributed their time, resources, and compassion to support the unhoused community and the TCT ministry. You truly represent the essence of faith and love in action.
